I love the Twitter culture and community, and I spend quite a bit of time using Twitter. From what I've seen anywhere from 5-10% is a pretty decent (example: listed 500 times and have 10,000 followers) number to aim for. I once calculated time spent blogging vs. number of RSS subscribers. It's awesome!
