If your blog is consistent enough that you believe RSS subscription is realistic, make sure visitors can easily subscribe to your RSS feed. (As then you have a much better chance that they’ll return or sign up for your RSS feed, email newsletter or other call to action. Consequently, I have two recommendations. Great post!

You might expect that this blog that has been written almost entirely by me for two years would experience a bit of a lull during this period, as different authors with less blogging experience took over. You would be entirely wrong. Visits are up. Page views are up. Retweets are up.

I think twitter is more of a heavily curated rss reader/feeder rather than a portal, and I suspect that presenting twitter to new users as more of a friendly way to use rss that as a way to push conversation with strangers would help quite a bit. When I'm clearing emails or reading (RSS, web, ReadItLater, etc.), Making wifi available on the NYC commuter bus gives me the option of laptop (convertible Fujitsu tablet) or iPad; iPad gets the nod when I'm not trying to do heavy lifting of spreadsheets, word docs, etc.

Concepts under consideration include a variety of different search results (not just by time, but possibly by relevancy or impact), analytics, RSS feeds, widgets and more. What neither of them seems to have is an RSS feed for results, which would be the Holy Grail of Facebook open-graph API monitoring. It's weird on RSS.
