I analyzed my Top 6 blog posts for 2011 by total page views, and am re-running them this week as a “greatest hits” compilation. Since I originally published this post, you’re seeing Google do a lot of the things I predicted. (Happy Holidays! This is #1. This is probably my favorite post of the year. – Jay).

Everyone’s all abuzz and atwitter about Plus, the new social network from a search engine company with which you might be familiar. My initial, abbreviated take is that Google’s new social toy is essentially a Facebook Twitter hybrid with outstanding ease-of-use and eye-popping potential. But enough about that.

If you are new to the search space, the purpose of search engines like Google is to provide the best results when someone completes a search. Google explains keyword stuffing as: Lists of phone numbers without substantial added value. It’s pretty easy to spot and Google will be able to tell that the content sounds unnatural.
