The first time I tried to stand up on a board was in a lagoon in north San Diego county. It took me about 2 hours before I could stand. When I did, it would be for about 5 seconds, and then down I’d go. Looking back, there were a lot of obvious parallels when I started my first company, CoolerEmail, 15 years ago.
