Surveys need to be duplicated to show a trend. When comparing the group of 25-35 year olds in 2008 to 2010 – the % change is only 16% – not 25%. Social media relies on the premise that we’ll believe what people tell us more readily than if we were told the same thing by a nameless, faceless company.
