Free blogging platforms are fine for hosting personal blogs where there is no justification for spending money and no expectation of generating any business leads, sales or income. Okay, so you understand the benefits of business blogs , and you’re ready to make the commitment to developing and maintaining a blog for the long haul.

The following tactics have never, and will never, produce a lead. To Jeff D, and all the other spammers, know that bloggers decide whether or not to post your comments. The amount of "lameness" on the part of sales people (and some marketers) has now come to a point that I think a public flogging is in order. Just get a list and go.

A simple little ^%$# stack overflow error I found on my blog when it's viewed in IE lead to me migrating my blog to Blogger Beta, a new template, a headache, 3 cups of coffee, 4 hours of sleep, and a pissed off wife.
