I took a close look recently at Tableau data visualization software. liked Tableau a lot, even though it wasn’t quite what I expected. had thought of it as a way to build aesthetically-correct charts, according to the precepts set down by Edward Tufte and like-minded visualization gurus such as Stephen Few.
