Before we enacted these changes, here's roughly how our blog email subscriptions worked. Traffic to the blog from our email notifications gives us an indication of how these emails are doing, but it's not a full picture of how well our emails themselves are doing. Result: The first 3 variants only showed small lifts but the stats weren’t solid enough to confidently declare a winner. Hypothesis: If the site search bar is more visually prominent with the right placeholder text, people will interact with the tool more and it will lead to a higher blog lead conversion rate. at over 95% confidence.
