I was sad to learn this week that BtoB magazine , which has existed under various brands for nearly 100 years, will be swallowed by Advertising Age at the end of the year. Despite all my blogging, books and contributions to other websites, the BtoB magazine association is the one people still mention most often when I meet them.

Facebook Can Work for B2B Marketers, But You Gotta Know the Rules

In a survey of marketers conducted by BtoB magazine last year , Facebook was ranked last in usefulness among the top five social networks, trailing blogs, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter, in that order. This is an under-utilized tool that enables companies to present an HTML page as their default front door. SAP plays inline videos.

His timing was brilliant and his wit often withering. Tom could bring down the house, not just because his timing was so good, but because people couldn’t believe he had just said what he said.
