Gallup is a first-class research organization and its methodology was no doubt rock solid, but even Gallup admits that “question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error and bias.” More than Marketing. The amusing results showed that very few had any idea (see video below).

We’ve created a whole class of people who are willing to forensically spank you if you’ve made decisions wrong. Google CEO Eric Schmidt has said that Google has a lot more data than it ever uses because it would be creepy if they did use it. Is this a generational issue? There are 360 million Americans today.
