Facebook tops Google for weekly traffic in the U.S. On Facebook, I also post it to the notes section. Remember, Google indexes content on pages.

Here’s what I look for in an optimized, good blog (one that gets Google search and reader results): A good blog title with a tag line that says what people will find on this blog (benefits to reader). This means you are losing Google juice and making it harder to for search engines to identify keywords.

If a bunch of full timers aren’t at your service, start with Google alerts for your name, company name, your boss’ name and the like. Remember that Google only includes results cached to its servers, so try other search engines of yesteryear. Dow Jones has several Facebook pages, including some hosted for certain countries.
