There’s no evidence that link wheels with high-quality content don’t work. In fact, if all the sites in a link wheel independently rank high in the search engines, Google won’t penalize those sites for being owned by the same person. A link wheel provides multiple opportunities to generate revenue. That’s not allowed.

Gianluca Fiorelli, SEO, ItaliaSEO : When it comes to links, I personally don't think at first if they are going to be followed or not. According to Simon Penson , Managing Director at Zazzle, "The problem is that a lot of link builders have indeed dragged what is a very white hat and value-adding tactic through the mud by attempting to describe spammy link building under the same name. But that''s just my opinion. Only accept unique content.
