On the vendor side, Hushly creates anonymous lead records in the client’s Salesforce.com instance, so companies can track their interactions with anonymous prospects and keep the history once the prospect identifies herself.

This requires a large customer base, easy access by app developers, enough power to be useful, and a barrier that keeps the monopoly intact. Let me be clear. I’d say this approach is debatable.
