Your social media strategy should do this too. Of course, you can talk about the run-of-the-mill features and benefits of your product, but that doesn’t create any real kinship. In fact, on a regular feature on the Today show… they show how the products regularly don't work. But, I’m not.

Since April, 2010 Western River has collected more than 1,100 of these customer stories. Tougher to do in some CPG categories where history and tradition is rooted in feature/benefit selling. And once the system was set up and the business rules determined, the company spends almost no time managing the program. Awesome post!!

There’s a bonus feature that automatically selects winners of online contests, via random number generator. I interviewed Adam Schoenfeld , President and Co-founder of RowFeeder to learn more about the company and its plans. No problem. Having ALL the tweets and Facebook messages on a single sheet is fascinating and satisfying.

I use Skype for a business line and would love to be able to video chat using an iPad… But alas – Apple has much more money to be made before they get to that feature. I'll all say, without going in depth, is it is very clear to me why features (ESPECIALLY USB, camera, webcam) were left off.

But it’s not like social media created negativity, it just puts a magnifying glass to it. Almost invariably, the Chevy trucks have the sticker on the back featuring Calvin peeing on the Ford logo. In Arizona (where I live for a few more days), there are a lot of pick-up trucks. And the Ford trucks have the pee on Chevy sticker.
