I suspect they could have annotated thue video with a URL and phone number and tracking code to close the conversion loop, but I fear that selling that is entirely overt within social content of that type could be viewed with a jaundiced eye by consumers. Maybe you guys have other examples where that is not so. That part is key.

Jennifer Slegg, who has kept track of the guidelines over the years, told Search Engine Land that the focus on the quality of content creators may be what impacts sites the most. Fast mobile pages have always been preferred, but were never an official ranking factor in the eyes of Google. We'll be keeping a close eye on this one.
