Optify was founded in 2008 and launched its original product, a search engine optimization (SEO) tool, about a year later. The company is planning an API to let clients export data directly.

Still, the interest among my own clients has been enough to spur a fresh look at the vendors in this field. Connections to touchpoints are typically through Web Services calls; connections to other sources are usually made through API calls and SQL queries. Several vendors offer both options. Maybe each of these plays a role.
