Since April, 2010 Western River has collected more than 1,100 of these customer stories. That content helps the company with SEO, and also builds a real-time, living FAQ of customer testimonials and insights. Tougher to do in some CPG categories where history and tradition is rooted in feature/benefit selling. Awesome post!!

Saw Zappos featured this wkend on tv. This is the overarching theme of Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh’s new book Delivering Happiness, a Path to Passion, Profits, and Purpose. He was very passionate about happiness and creating a culture to support the vision.

I'd suggest minimizing the sharing features at the bottom of the post to a few core staples, then SMACKING them in the head with a very clear CTA illustrating the reasons why they should come back again. At first, you knew everyone at the party. So what can you do to bring them back?

I use Skype for a business line and would love to be able to video chat using an iPad… But alas – Apple has much more money to be made before they get to that feature. I'll all say, without going in depth, is it is very clear to me why features (ESPECIALLY USB, camera, webcam) were left off.

There was no shatteringly impactful takeaway from SXSW 2010, as it seems we’ve entered a (sure to be brief) innovation lull. Both companies (as well as a second tier of contenders) are working on new features and ramping up their business development teams. I’ll write about that soon.
