A couple years ago a friend turned me on to Improv Everywhere. They create scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Performance art. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City. Famous for stunts like Frozen Grand Central where over 200 volunteer troupe members mingled into the crowd and then simultaneously came to a halt.
