In true Twitter fashion, it wasn’t “rolled out” per se, it just appeared as part of the API that third parties access. And whereas Facebook is the site du jour for posting personal pics and other gobbledy-gook, Twitter is, in my opinion, a better mobile tool for getting/giving information. Not an overwhelming participation rate.
