Sagefrog Wrapped: Our Top 5 Wins in 2023

Well, it’s that time again! The curtains are closing on yet another remarkable chapter in the history of one humble marketing agency. Sagefrog has so much to be thankful for as we reflect on this year, that we had to get creative to condense these accomplishments into our proudest top five wins.

From welcoming talented new team members to witnessing the growth of inspiring clients, 2023 gave us many moments of marketing bliss—and we’re ready for more!

1. Launched a New Website

In June, we launched a clean and crisp new website to enhance its user-friendly interface, weave in updated branding elements, and share valuable B2B content with fellow marketers. We’re thrilled that the site leverages the latest in marketing automation, digital integrations, and mobile-first design to follow the same best practices we use with our clients when delivering custom B2B web development services.

2. Won Exciting Awards

We took a leap and submitted an integrated marketing campaign for one of our clients to a prestigious international creative award—and won Silver! The Davey Awards recognizes exceptional work from top agencies worldwide, receiving nearly 4,000 entries each year, and Sagefrog was honored in the “Integrated Campaign – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” category.

Our team loves pushing the boundaries of creative standards, but it meant even more to win big for a client that provides LGBTQ+ aging cultural competency services. We added this to the shelf alongside a few other accolades in 2023: Philadelphia
Business Journal’s Best Places to Work
and Soaring 76,
as well as awards from Clutch and UpCity.

3. Opened a Boston Office

Sagefrog continued to expand our reach across the Northeast with the addition of a new satellite office in Boston, Massachusetts. Along with our Doylestown, PA, headquarters, our locations in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and soon Washington, DC, give us the ability to form a stronger foothold in areas that house some of the country’s most innovative healthcare, life science, technology, and business services companies. Now we’re able to more easily meet in person with both established and developing Boston-based leaders and form partnerships to help accelerate their success.

4. Diversified Our Offerings

Sagefrog built out even more capabilities to benefit our clients by introducing a new service offering and advancing our HubSpot knowledge. Our new B2B demand generation services are a strategic blend of marketing and sales tactics surrounding the buyer’s journey that turn target audience pain points into high-quality leads.

And as an experienced Platinum HubSpot Partner Agency, we completed 25 new certifications and refined our onboarding and account auditing processes to maximize client success on one of the most fruitful platforms for modern B2B marketers.

5. Strengthened Our Team

The frogs celebrated our talent and resilience all year round with a myriad of team-building activities that only made the bonds between us stronger. We had department-level and company-wide meetups at wineries, breweries, bowling alleys, Topgolf, Scent & Sip, and other fun locations.

We gave back to our community by digging up potatoes for Carversville Farm Foundation to continue our annual tradition of local volunteering. We broke bread with coworkers and their families during our holiday party—this year, at the charming Pineville Tavern. And we even gave marketing students at Rider University an inside look at our agency with the lecture “A Day in the Life at a Marketing Agency.”

Organizing in-person events is one of our favorite ways to encourage meaningful connections and share lasting memories with team members old and new.

 

Our Hopes for the Year Ahead

Like most businesses, Sagefrog has worked hard to find new ways of weathering economic uncertainty and emerge a wiser and more resourceful partner to our clients—and we’re prepared to do the same in 2024.

We have a lot planned for the new year: increase our efficiency, adopt exciting new tools, experiment even further with AI… The list goes on! A strong commitment to adaptability and innovation has always bolstered Sagefrog’s role as a trusted marketing partner, and it will continue to serve as our guiding light in 2024.
