Despite the challenges of 2021, I’m proud to report the team here at Bionic made significant progress through big upgrades to our software for advertisers, agencies, and ad sales teams.

Here are some of the highlights from the past year:

  • Insertion Orders. In February, you got a major upgrade to your insertion order capabilities. Bionic now automates the process of creating, sending, signing, and tracking insertion orders (IOs) including media placement schedule, itemized costing, advertising flowcharts, legal terms, payment terms, special instructions, and electronic signatures.

  • “Tres Comas” Media Planning Tool. In April, you got a new keyboard macro that saves thousands of keystrokes.
  • Vendor Bill Reconciliation. Also in April, you got a new vendor bill reconciliation and payment system.

  • Ad Spots Media Buying Tool. In June, you a new tool for laying down broadcast media spots in your media plan.
  • ROAS Calculator. In July, you got a new tool for calculating Return on Ad Spend directly within your media plan.
  • Media Planning for Programmatic Advertising. In August, we showed you how Bionic automates the process of creating media plans that include programmatic advertising.
  • Cumulative Reach Calculator. In September, you got a new tool for estimating the cumulative reach of your media plans.
  • Media KPIs That Matter. In November, we showed you how to track all the “Media KPIs That Matter” according to the ANA.

  • QuickBooks Integration. In November, you got a new QuickBooks integration that automates vendor bill reconciliations across the media, analytics, and finance teams.
