1. Do you have any nicknames we should know about?
Everyone calls me Phil!
2. What are your favorite and least favorite foods? Please elaborate
Hands down favorite food is a cheeseburger. I only know of one person who can make a better burger than me. Least favorite… I pretty much love all foods except French Toast, and it’s not even like I dislike French Toast, it’s more like Pancakes > Waffles > French Toast. So if a pancake or a waffle is available I’m not even thinking about French Toast!
3. What is your favorite part about working in IT/technology?
The problem-solving! Each problem is different so it makes the days all unique!
4. Why did you choose RDW?
Honestly, the people. I was very fortunate that I really liked my previous job. At least 5-6 different people in my life who did not know each other all told me about their positive experiences with the RDW community.
5. Who’s your idol? Why?
That would be my mom! She might be the kindest, most hardworking human being alive.
6. What’s your favorite place you’ve visited?
I think Asheville, NC – the beer and dining selections 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌
7. Cat person or dog person? Why?
Can I be both? I have a cat named Mildred, she’s sweet and sleeps 19 hours a day, but I love dogs too!
8. Favorite karaoke song?
Coolio – Gangsta’s Paradise
9. If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
To make red lights turn green
10. Most rewarding project/past achievement you’ve been a part of?
Myself. I’ll be the first to say I didn’t always make my mental and physical health a priority. I really really can’t tell you how much my life and the lives of the folks I interact with on a daily basis have improved from me making sure I take care of myself mentally and physically!
11. What’s your background (educational)?
I have a BA in English and an MA in Education, both from URI! RHODY RHODY RHODY RAMS RAMS RAMS!!!
