Walker Sands Elevates Senior PR and Creative Services Leaders

Over the past ten years, I’ve watched Walker Sands evolve into a fully integrated marketing agency offering best-in-class services for some of the top B2B tech companies in the world. I’ve seen first hand how our people have helped fuel this growth – from producing award-winning work to helping the agency make the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the eighth year in a row.

We’re fortunate to have such incredibly smart, talented people driving the agency forward, which is why I’m excited to announce the promotion of Payal Pathak to Vice President of Public Relations and Ann Hagner to Vice President, Creative Director. These two leaders have been instrumental not only in growing our PR and Creative teams and offerings, but in helping shape Walker Sands into the agency it is today. 

  • Payal Pathak, Vice President of PR – Since joining Walker Sands in 2013, Payal has grown alongside the PR department to now manage a team of 15 talented PR and media relations professionals while producing award-winning work recognized by the Publicity Club of Chicago and the Public Relations Society of America. Over the last eight years, Payal built our executive media training program and played an important role in establishing our expertise in fintech, electronics and manufacturing. As Vice President of Public Relations, Payal will continue to oversee those industries while helping to shape the next generation of PR leaders. 
  • Ann Hagner, Vice President, Creative Director – Ann has been a key part of the growth of our creative offerings during her time at Walker Sands. She led a 16-person team of creative professionals through a period of 600% team growth in the past five years and has overseen work that has earned recognition from AVA Digital Awards, Hermes Creative Awards and Business Insider. As Vice President, Creative Director, Ann will focus on Walker Sands’ campaigns and organic social media offerings while continuing to partner with the firm’s PR, demand generation, editorial content and marketing strategy teams to build and execute compelling creative work for B2B brands looking to accelerate growth. 

Payal and Ann have both gone above and beyond to grow top-notch talent within their teams while providing award-winning work for our clients. They have played critical roles in the growth of our PR and creative departments, and I’m excited to see how they’ll continue to shape and push the agency forward.
