Append data points like SIC code, revenue and employee size to contact records. Use a smart mix of multiple media: outbound calls, voice mail messages, email and more. Ideally ten criteria including the traditional BANT subset will be addressed. Consider SiriusDecisions’ lead categories of MQLs, SALs and SQLs.

Beyond that, they are not sure what to do with the list, other than just send an email or call them (rarely do they mention mail). First, start with companies by industry (4-digit SIC or 6-digit NAICS code) and number of employees by standard ranges (i.e. In the old days, mail/phone was the sequence. 1-10, 11-25, etc.)

Out of professionally courtesy, I won’t name them, but the “Friendly From” in their sender line refers to them as an “Email Markeitng” (sic) service. As if all this isn’t enough, the mailing is filled with buttons asking readers to “Read More” or “Check It Out!” Did I Say Mail Merge Errors Were Gone? We Prefer to Call It….
