Oracle announced today that it has agreed to purchase B2B marketing automation leader Eloqua for $23.50 This was a bit of a surprise, given that Eloqua just went public in August. It suggests that neither Oracle nor Eloqua management felt the company was substantially undervalued. Okay, now we can talk about Salesforce.com.
