Merge tags in Litmus Builder

With our latest updates in Litmus Builder, you can easily build with (and preview*) merge tags to create more personalized emails, faster.

Easily create and preview merge tags

Regardless of technical coding abilities and ESP access, team members will now be able to create and preview personalized emails with ESP merge tags in Litmus Builder.

Find and add the right ESP-specific merge tags to your email, without switching between tools—saving time and reducing the risk of costly email errors.

Merge tags from multiple ESPs—all in one place

We’ve reduced the hassle of jumping between tools with easy access to insert merge tags from popular ESPs. Plus, add your own custom tags as well as preview* your merge tags.

*The ability to preview merge tag personalization at the email client and device level is coming soon.

Additional Litmus Platform Enhancements

Our latest enhancements also include the ability to restore deleted emails, a new “Billing Manager” user role, email client configuration by keyword, and user searching.

Restore deleted emails

You now have the flexibility to restore recently deleted emails. All versions of emails (including Litmus Proof comments) can be restored for 30 days once an email project has been deleted.

New “Billing Manager” user role

We added a new “Billing Manager” user role to ensure all team members have the right permission levels, including your finance and billing team.

Add a “Billing Manager” to access invoices and payments without utilizing one of your Litmus paid user seats.

Email client configuration by keyword

Streamline your email testing configuration with new keyword filtering for email clients and devices.

Email client configuration by keyword

Use keywords to filter common groups like operating system (e.g. Android) or reading mode (Dark Mode or Light Mode).

You can also quickly select/deselect clients individually or in bulk. Plus, the new client counter tells you how many clients you have selected for better visibility and control.

User searching

Easily manage large, distributed teams across subaccounts. Account holders can now search for users, select multiple users, and even bulk delete—helping you maintain the visibility and control needed to manage users across teams.
