The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Release Plan Wave 2 was officially announced this past July and enhancements to D365 are starting to roll out this month through March. To save you a bit of time, here are a few of the many features that you will see in your D365 sales environment.

Manager Dashboards & Seller KPIs

Public preview of this enhancement is slated for December and will cover manager dashboards – including a count of active leads vs previous period, opportunity and leads conversion ratios, leads by source type, leads per seller, real-time seller KPIs, number of qualified leads, calls and meetings and estimated value. 

Preconfigured Templates for Sequences

These sequences are defined based on industry best practices and proven business processes to help define a consistent approach to customer connections.

Automatic Lead Routing

Rules for automatic routing include segments, lead and seller attributes, distribution method seller attributes and sales team capacity.

Enabling Intelligent Field Augmentation to Improve Predictive Scoring

With this new update, you will be able to train AI models with the augmentation of specified fields, known as intelligent fields. A few examples of how to utilize this approach include monitoring new and retuning customers, phone number length, email address validity or recent activity.

Accelerating Deal Velocity by Identifying Additional Stakeholders with Account-Based Contact Discovery

This feature will include leveraging exchange data to find new contacts directly from with D365, including contact discovery from a lead and account level, enabling you to see which D365 user is most closely connected to a contact.
