Ever since the first banner ad emerged in 1994, the digital advertising world exploded with new terminology seemingly going the way of Wall Street with exchanges, DSPs, SSPs—turning this new industry into some sort of obscure alphabet soup. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some sort of bookmark-able online advertising glossary to turn to? Ad group: A single set of ads with an associated bid and audience within a campaign.
