David is also an Emmy-nominated director/producer who grew up in North Carolina.

Recently, David was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list for work directing/co-creating DreamxAmerica. David also produced a multi-million-dollar docuseries that sold to Complex Networks.

David graduated from Duke University and played basketball under Coach K before leaving the team to make films and write poetry.
