Summary: LoopFuse has extended its system to capture more Web traffic data, which lays the foundation for future analytics. LoopFuse recently released its latest enhancements, which it somewhat grandiosely labels as making it “ the First and Only Marketing Automation Solution with Inbound Marketing ”. Dale Wolf’s comment on my Wednesday post suggests hopefully “it could be that CEM recognition is about to get its due” based on the increasing frequency of “customer experience manager” as a job title. This got me to wondering how you would really measure the progress of a concept towards a buzzword tipping point, or whatever you want to call it. My initial benchmark, which I still think is a good one, is a cover on BusinessWeek. The thought here is that represents mainstream business reporting. And I would have noticed. No buzz-power there. As you might imagine, I’ve been trying to decide how to expand the set of products covered in the Raab Guide to Demand Generation Systems. My original plan had been to add several marketing automation vendors with significant presence in this market. The tentative list is Unica , Aprimo , Alterian , and Neolane. But I’ve also been approached by some of the other demand generation specialists. So far the original list of Eloqua , Vtrenz , Marketo , Manticore Technology and Market2Lead has proven a good set of choices. Summary: Hubspot offers a bundle of Web traffic generation and lead management features in one low-cost package. Small businesses willing to invest some effort should be pleased with the results. Yesterday’s post described one strategy to sell marketing automation to small businesses: provide a specific, turnkey service that requires virtually no skill or effort from the user.
