OCTOBER 20, 2010 [Twitter] Eloqua Experience 2010
Eloqua recognizes this and has launched their Eloqua University (including Twitter handle @EloquaU ). This week I attended the Eloqua Experience, Eloqua’s user conference in San Francisco. The big news of this event is the launch of Eloqua 10. It’s the result of 2 years of hard work, and it looks very good. The revamped user interface makes working with Eloqua a lot of fun.

Twitter splinter: People who “get” twitter will continue to laugh at those who don’t and those who don’t will continue to not care, and to not twitter. A new movement will start called Refusetwits (like Refuseniks). New social media channels are appearing weekly and while they may not have hard costs, targeting a channel like Twitter effectively takes time and effort. 2009 was the year in which Marketing Automation really took off. The Google tracking is from before Twitter, so the URLs were long and ugly. Twitter made the URL shorteners popular, like tinyURL and bit.ly. On Tuesday Genius.com announced the Genius URL Shortener (GURL), which makes it easier to measure the results of social media campaigns.
