Here is an example of what this looked like on Twitter search : The result was a surge of traffic to my blog, additional Twitter followers, and blog RSS subscribers. The post was then picked up by other social media hubs such as StumbleUpon and Digg which pushed additional traffic along with search engine traffic.

I just received a huge boost in my traffic and wanted to let you know the reason why. Tip#2: Improve search rankings by getting links from authority web sites I was recently featured on www.problogger.net which not only drove a large amount of traffic to my blog but also helped in my search rankings as Problogger is an authority website.

The blog is called Hard Sell Blog by Keith McArthur who writes for the Globe and Mail. His blog is about the latest in marketing and advertising.

I wrote a blog post about a Nissan Sentra ad campaign called " 7 Days in a Sentra " that I didn't think was all that great. My blog post was called 7 Days in a Crapbox (Nissan Sentra).
