SEO (search engine optimization) spending as a percentage of paid search is decreasing as reported in Marketing Sherpa's new " Top 7 Search Marketing Insights for 2005 ". SEO went from 12% to 10% of paid search from 2005 to 2006. I encourage you to check out the rest of the report if SEO floats your boat.
