What is more clear, based on the Webcast invitation I received this week (below), is that it hasn’t done much for Eloqua’s own email marketing. Neither the headline, subhead, nor the title of the event itself provide any kind of specific, credible idea of what I would gain from attending the Webcast. Who’s speaking? Here: nada.

In this case, an invitation to download a recorded Webcast, Adobe combines a clean email design with clear, concise selling copy that gets to the point quickly and with a minimum of fuss. I don’t really know this is a Webcast until I read the body copy, and even then it’s not entirely clear what I’m being asked to do.
