Demand – urgency. You can apply “brand” thinking and “demand” thinking to the entirety of the process. If you’re doing demand generation from a buyer-first perspective, I’d wager that it also serves as brand marketing. But I see others breaking the marketing spectrum down like this: Brand – awareness. Brand – interest. You need both.
