What’s New in Litmus Q4 2021: Webinar Recording + Q&A

Categories

A lot has changed in the world of email this year. And a lot has changed in Litmus to reflect that.

This quarter, we released a host of new updates—all geared toward helping you navigate increased email demand, new privacy measures, and the need to become more agile.

In this webinar, Jess Materna, Director of Product Marketing at Litmus, and Shannon Howard, Customer Marketing Manager at Litmus, share how the latest updates help you stay on top of changes to the email landscape.

Didn’t make the live webinar? That’s OK. We recorded the whole thing. Watch the recording here:

Q&A

We answered a lot of questions during the webinar but weren’t able to get to them all. Check them out here, and let us know if there’s anything else you’re wondering about in the comments below.

How are reliable opens counted in Litmus?

This is a great question! We now separate the email opens that we believe are from reliable providers (reliable opens) from those we know are inflated or unreliable (i.e., Apple Privacy-Impacted Opens). So these opens are total opens minus Apple Privacy-Impacted Opens.

Apple Privacy-Impacted Opens include Apple Mail versions starting with Apple iOS15 (iPhone), iPadOS 15, and MacOS Monterey.

How do I stop automated Proof reminders?

Once you view the Proofs assigned to you, you will stop receiving the automatic reminders.

Do public Proof URLs expire after 30 days, or do they last longer?

Public Proof URLs expire after 30 days. If you need to extend the link, simply create a new public Proof URL.

Which email service providers integrate with Integrated Insights?

The Integrated Insights Report is currently available for Litmus Enterprise customers using Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

How does Litmus know which emails are automated for the Integrated Insights Report?

Great question! The Integrated Insights Report uses a date-based algorithm to determine if a report is automated or not.

Do you still have to create and add tracking codes if you set up ESP sync?

Yes. If you’re using ESP sync, you’ll still need to create a tracking code in Litmus and insert into the HTML in your ESP.

Will the Litmus tracking code work, even if you’re not integrated with an ESP?

It will! Litmus tracking codes are created and inserted manually into the HTML in your ESP, so they work even if you’re not using ESP sync.
