In this chart you’ll notice that 44% of marketer’s surveyed said their compensation is tied to sales. What’s also interesting is that 85% of marketers said their departments goal was to drive qualified leads, but when asked, “ lead nurturing was seen as most important by only 21%. This means that while marketers own pockets are affected by internal processes such as lead management and lead nurturing, they still aren’t collaborating with Sales to optimize their efforts and productivity.
