Building a Demand Gen Tribe: The Seth Godin Lead Gen Program

Give away lots of relevant info through blogs, twitter, industry events, etc. I recently saw a Fortune 500 company do this and, whadda ya know, 55 unique twitter addresses tweeted the exact same text at the exact same moment (sounds like an ingenious agency idea to me). Lead with leaders. Don't look like you hired an agency.

When we looked at the statistics, we had 10 different people tweet about our launch to a total Twitter following of 40,013 people. That's generated a good amount of traffic and leads. If you do good follow-up or lead nurturing, then studies show that you can keep and close more leads.
