Today, we are spoiled by a plethora of resources such as Jigsaw, Linked In, Hoovers, Zoom info, etc. Online resources are an excellent source for companies that are difficult to navigate, but reps that are accustomed to logging into Jigsaw before making the dial are missing a very important piece of teleprospecting.

Salesforce.com on Wednesday announced its definitive decision to buy Jigsaw , the business data provider for $142 Million in cash, plus a performance-based earn out of up to 10% of the purchase-price. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal year 2011.

We checked the companies out with the LeadLander Jigsaw link, and were able to identify 2-3 marketing contacts per company. Nice to know someone there is sharing our information. The Jigsaw link is very nice, especially if you have an unlimited Jigsaw license, like Green Leads. They meet their promise. Day 1. Day 2.
