Late last year, I sat in on a couple of social media marketing webinars from two of the best: Rick Burnes , Marketing Manager at HubSpot , and Chris Abraham of Abraham Harrison , along with Sally Falkow of Expansion Plus . Rick noted at that time that 15% of HubSpot’s website traffic was driven by social media.

After attending a social media seminar sponsored by HubSpot, Wendell decided to launch a blog called, BankNotes that was integrated with his website. By engaging with a relatively broad universe of professionals who cared about banking issues, BankNotes became a trusted source of information. As the subset of blog readers who qualified as prospects engaged with his content, they came to trust Wendel as the expert who could Influence them with information well before they are ready to buy from you.
