HubSpot did a great job with production and content for the conference and made some very big announcements regarding their product. It was a phenomenal conference, full of informative presentations and a great list of keynote speakers. Inbound marketing has made great strides, with the help of HubSpot of course, and should be a part of any company's marketing strategy. We are back from our hiatus and hope everyone enjoyed their time with friends and family over the Holiday's. Our marketing automation software was the first tool I mention, giving me the ability to manage our blog, web traffic/analytics, lead conversion, and CTA's from the same portal (we use HubSpot). I hope everyone enjoyed their time with family and friends yesterday and nobody over did it too much with their turkey dinner. Today marks one of the busiest shopping days of the year, so avoid the stampedes and squabbling over this years "must have" toys. I can't stand most telesales reps. cringe when I pick up the phone only to hear a teleprospecting rep jump into a 5-minute spiel on the benefits of whatever product/service they are providing. respect that they are trying to do their job, and I always give them a few seconds to catch my interest (mostly because of the industry I am in) but 9 times out of 10 I am itching to get off the phone after 10 seconds. First I wanted to highlight a really great post I read this week and thought it was worth sharing. Dan Baum wrote a great article on Lead Generation and revealed 13 Mind-Blowing Lead Generation Statistics. Dan provides some great, and in some cases eye opening statistics regarding lead generation.
