Within an astonishingly short time, Wikipedia has become one of the most-visited sites on the Internet. For example, Wikipedia's list of social networking websites now contains 111 entries; an impressive list, but certainly not all-inclusive. Despite its flaws, Wikipedia isn't going to disappear.

The stock market can be brutal when a company fails to meet earning expectations, such as it was last week when Google's stock price fell by 10% despite a 35% increase in earnings. Like the farmer's hungry children, investors are demanding that Google squeeze more out of its turkeys. Err, advertisers. But first, the paranoid fantasy.

Wikipedia – It is a boon to your small business to be mentioned on Wikipedia. The site's many entries are highly ranked in Google and read by millions each day. One caveat: Wikipedia editors can be ruthless about removing external links from the site, so it isn't an easy feat to make your small business "stick."

Wikipedia lists more than 100 social networking sites , and Social Media Trader recently compiled an even more exhaustive list of 115 social news and bookmark sites rated by PageRank, number of inbound links and dollar value of each site.
