One of the questions that I keep hearing is: How do I drive more traffic to my website and keep them there? It allows you to post content about your company that doesn't make a lot of sense but contains many links and keywords that will drive traffic to your site. It's cheaper then Google AdWords. Maybe you got here from Google or another random search. The reason bloggers want you to bookmark their articles is because it increases their blog traffic. This increases the popularity and directs traffic to the blog. Why do I see advertisements (like Ads by Google) all over these pages?

For example, increase home page traffic by 20%, increase conversions (needs to be flushed out) by 5% etc. Keep Google in Mind: As we all know, search engines are key. Keep Google in Mind 2: Home pages are not what they used to be. Make sure there is buy in from all involved. We just don't have the patience or time anymore.
