Why Instagram will be the next big social media platform

grow - Practical Marketing Solutions

A few weeks ago I professed my love for Instagram and predicted that this easy photo-sharing app would soar. Now, new data from The Social Habit seems to confirm that Instagram is poised for a breakout. Of the Americans surveyed who currently use a social media platform, only 18 percent currently have a profile on Instagram. That’s paltry compared to Facebook (94%) or Twitter (47%). Hilarious!

Content Can Differentiate Industrial Companies When There’s Parity in Value Propositions

Industrial Marketing Today

A Value Proposition plays an important role in differentiation, which in turn affects lead generation. Yet, if you read the content on most industrial websites, they tend to sound similar within each industry. Most manufacturers and industrial companies make generic claims that are often copied by their competition and lack validation. How do you rise above the noise when there is so much parity in Value Propositions? There are experts who are more qualified than I am in crafting a Value Proposition that is so unique to a company that it cannot be easily duplicated by others.

Could LinkedIn Destroy Facebook?

Image via CrunchBase. LinkedIn is starting to look – and act – a lot more like Facebook and Twitter. With 175 million users, it’s certainly not up to the “1 billion” scale of Facebook. Now that you can share news and updates – and group discussions are gaining traction – could LinkedIn change the social networking landscape?
