According to the 2014 Internet Trends Report by venture capital firm KPCB, mobile now accounts for 25 percent of all global Web usage—and that number continues to rise as more and more users log on via smartphones. The report states that smartphone users are now more than 30 percent of the 5.2-billion mobile-phone user base.
