Study Finds Mobile Marketing Is More Important than Ever to Reach a Teen Audience

For brands trying to reach a teen audience, mobile marketing is more important than ever. A new Pew Research Center report shows teens are overwhelmingly using their cell phones to access the Web, and when they do they use a bevy of social media and messaging apps. Pew’s “Teens, Social Media & Technology Overview 2015” found 91 percent of teens ages 13–17 go online using a mobile device, at least occasionally, with 73 percent of teens owning their own smartphone.
