The retailer REI is closing on the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday.  It is a radical retail idea.  But it was big news in the papers.

Apple created the Mac and iPhone, which are unlike other phones and computers.  Especially the iPhone.

That made me think about the importance of being different and unique.  Closing the retailer REI and paying employees when they are not working on the biggest shopping day of the year was very big news.

Dance to your own drummer.  That is the business story of the future.
