A simple little ^%$# stack overflow error I found on my blog when it's viewed in IE lead to me migrating my blog to Blogger Beta, a new template, a headache, 3 cups of coffee, 4 hours of sleep, and a pissed off wife. Blogger: Blogging is the Differentiator Some people may have written off blogging and I admit that I have a love/hate relationship with it but in 2009 I’m definitely seeing it as even more important social media tool. About a month or so later, it was picked up by another blogger, Kathy Pay , and then quickly by the Twitter community.

We live in a free country up here and we don't look highly on being restricted in our web browsing (especially on US web sites!!) Negativity is very powerful these days as bloggers can write up how dissatisfied they are very easily via blogs. :) Why not add a comment that tells me the reason I can't watch the video?

In addition, with this Web 2.0 technology, you never leave the page you are on so it's a better web experience. The drawback for bloggers is that you can't get Adsense but hey, if I was blogging for the money I would have quit long ago.

As a blogger and a marketer, you need to look at YouTube in a broader context. Bloggers have accepted this and even embraced companies that have started blogging. If you're a blogger, why not do a 1 minute intro video about yourself and your blog and post it on YouTube? What does this all mean? It's really that simple.

With an RSS feed, you can promote in your email footers and it can be re-used by other bloggers and companies. Tags: B2B email marketing lead nurturing lead generation blogging lead qualification closed loop Web 2.0. This is a simple one but it's surprising how many e-newsletters remain only in email format.

At the time I didn't have any answers except for Feedblitz 's tool which allows web visitors to get updated via email every time you submit a blog post (they have some new paid tools as well). This approach works for the average blogger but companies need better tools.
