The concept behind a blogletter is to be able to publish blog posts (or any RSS feeds for that matter) directly to an email and send it to subscribers. This approach works for the average blogger but companies need better tools. You can update an RSS feed and have it publish to your website and email. Other advantages?

Blogger: Blogging is the Differentiator Some people may have written off blogging and I admit that I have a love/hate relationship with it but in 2009 I’m definitely seeing it as even more important social media tool. About a month or so later, it was picked up by another blogger, Kathy Pay , and then quickly by the Twitter community.

What I mean by conversions is making it easy to subscribe to your RSS feed , bookmarking your posts, and/or leaving comments. This means placing the subscribe RSS feed icon at the top of your blog. Blogger Beta 2.0 Blogger Beta 2.0 It took Google a few weeks to add this in for Blogger Beta 2.0. Sound obvious?

If you're on my blog (that's directed to my RSS reader friends), you'll notice a shiny new Google search box at the top of the site. The drawback for bloggers is that you can't get Adsense but hey, if I was blogging for the money I would have quit long ago. I've got a fairly simple solution. Try it out!
