Give away lots of relevant info through blogs, twitter, industry events, etc. LinkedIn Groups. Quote them in blog articles. Be it Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn Groups, or your blog.

We issued a press release, and we've gotten some great blog posts as well as Tweets - to both the blog posts, as well as the press release.

I've noticed lately that if you have the right media contacts connected with you on Twitter and Linkedin, you can almost get your word out through those channels as opposed to the standard techniques. Mike: Blogging seems to be the communications platform of the future. In fact, our new site's press section will basically be a blog.
